So I've made about three tributes so far in my music making career, and this one is for Wavves. They've all had samples, too. The 2nd part of this song is "Friends Were Gone" by Wavves, except I slowed it down.. a lot. The "Hi, I'm Nathan" part is from Daytripping: Wavves by Pitchfork. It's an interview/followNathanaroundwithacamera video that I love.
The 1st half is pretty explosive and nasty and is from a song I made called "Beat You 'til You Vomit". I just hate the chorus so I threw that part away and just kept the bombastic intro. (soundcloud.com/sadpuppyfacedog/beat-you-till-you-vomit)

Wavves is my biggest influence when it comes to making music, especially recording. The first two Wavves albums are heavily lo-fi and those masterpieces are the reason OVVLs is what it is today. I love Wavves a lot. Wavves Wavves Wavvvves<3
